need help badly. to sum it up, my 1998 dodge stratus wouldn't start this weekend. bought a new battery (just to be safe) installed it and it still it wouldn't start. i opened the hood and realized the fuel ignition fuse was blown. i replaced it and tried to start the car and it blew the same fuse immediately. what could be causing this to happen? i am going to put in another fuse tonight and see if it pops when i turn the key to start or after. if it pops in start position i would assume something is wrong with starter. right? there is no noise at all when i turn the key and someone told me that means its not the starter. i have never taken the starter out of this car before and dont want to screw it up. i was hoping to take it out and test it at a autozone or something. i guess there could be a short somewhere too, but have no idea how to find it. i have very little money. any idea whats wrong or how much this might cost me?
thanks SO much!!!
