Default Rear Disk Brake Conversion

I want to convert my 2000 Cirrus's rear drum brakes to disk brakes. I searched the threads and it looks like it's possible. Besides the rotors, calipers and pads what other parts will I need to do the conversion? Will I have to replace the master cyl, hoses, lines etc?? It does "NOT" have ABS.

THANKS!!!!

let me know, if you would like, i can take some pics of the rear disc setup on my '00 ES. It came stock with them, so comparing what you have to my setup may shed more light on what you might need (if anything!). oh... i DO have abs, so hopefull that won't make too much of a difference in your conversion. Good Luck!

I did this on my 01 coupe. All i needed was backing plates, rotors, and calipers. Hubs are exactly the same. Only difference with the ABS system is the sensors, which is a metal wheel with ridges, and a small electrical sensor. Its not an issue in any way. You can leave it off.

Pearl, sounds simple enough! I hope the since Danny and I have 1g strats, that it's not any more difficult. I've often wondered about doing the same with the wife's Cavalier. Danny I'll get some pics together first chance I get.

It was simple and pretty straight forward. HUGE improvement visually and performance wise too. My coupe is Mitsubishi made, so I was able to snag everything from a 97 Eclipse.
I didnt even have to fool with a new ebrake cable.
