Default 05 Stratus Sub install

Hey,

I need some help or pointers on how to run the battery cable to the amp in a 4 door 05 Stratus. So far I've had no luck finding a way.

Any help would be great.

Thanks

Typically there is some sort of opening in the firewall. I've had installs where there was no suitable location to just "push" through, and have had to drill a small hole (making it 1/8" larger than your gauge wire) and using a plastic or rubber grommet to avoid chaffing. Once through the firewall, you can route to either side of the car, and can normally run under the door sills. They should just pop off with clips, some cars they are screwed down. You will want to go down both sides (ie: power/remote wire on one side, RCA/speaker wire down OTHER side) as this will prevent any interference between the wire and the audio. If you are not able to push through, and don't want to chance drilling a hole in the firewall, than a trip to an audio installer may be in order.
