2001 R/T Factory Alarm

Does anyone know how to permanently disable the factory alarm on a 2001 R/T. I got the car used and did not get a keyfob remote for it. Hell, it was two years before I even knew it had an alarm.

I have a short in the alarm system and now I can't get it to stop going off. I want to cut the power to the "main brain" of the system, if that's at all possible.

i believe that if you search around the DIY area, there is a run down of how to shut it down.

I cannot find any alarm documentation anywhere. It's not even printed in the freakin' manual for the car. Can anyone help with this?
