these cars are not mod-friendly, at least for a low price.

my temp gauge has never gone above the mid point.

i have custom made exhaust and an "ebay cai"...i didnt see a point in paying 300+ for a name brand intake..i dont like in commifornia so i dont care what it does for emissions..

my motor mounts made a big difference because my front and rear were torn. thats the only "failure" ive had on the car since getting it new.

Nope it wasn't.. what would you guestimate one would cost? And is CAI metal or plastic? I have always wondered why most are metal when I believe they would conduct/transfer more heat than plastic

my intake is metal. plastic versus metal is a long standing debate across many of the forums...youd think that someone would do an actual test, but the way that i look at it, companies like ingen and AEM make millions on their intakes being the best, and if plastic was better..and we know plastic is cheaper, why wouldnt they be using it?

as for the exhaust, i honestly dont have any idea what a shop would charge you to bend the rear pipe section that leads into the muffler. your stock unit is one piece, and i didnt want to cut apart my stock exhaust, just in case...so we had one bent, and a flange made and welded on...then the rear section, which is my muffler. it amounts to a 3.5" tip, but thats actually the back of the muffler...
