Default Rough Idle

Im having an issue. My stratus has a rough idle so I stepped on the accelerator and the car wont go past 3500rpm. I just changed the plugs and its still doing it. There are no codes showing so any ideas?

ok i just pulled the vac line off the PCV valve and the idle instantly got better so does that mean that the PCV is bad. What the best way to check it?

I would just replace it as well. I'd also make sure your air filter is good too.

Well I found out why I had no codes...the light bulb on the dash burnt out so the indictor was not coming on. But after hooking up a scanner I got P0172 - System Rich. Well that usually mean that the computer is telling the injectors to dump more fuel, thus messing up the AIR/Fuel mixture. So my question is could my MAP sensor be bad and if so how do I test it. If its not the MAP what else coould it be? Thanx

Sure your O2 sensors aren't the problem? By the way, thanks for reminding me I need to change my PCV valve.
