Default brake warning light

it seems when my car is cold, or when I step on it and then back off, the brake light comes on. (as if I have the e-brake pulled) obviously it is down, and pulling it and releasing doesn't help. You guys have any idea what this warning light could be indicating? When my 02 r/t warms up the brake light goes off. and when I drive like i'm 80 years old it goes off. I don't wanna deal with the sack of crap dealer but if that is what I gotta do then so be it. Thanks for the help.

BadStrat...where can I look for some of that black vinal for the brake lights?

Default RE: brake warning light

the brake lights are a nightmare to vinyl over due to the shape...it curves oddly, twice...thats why ive done all of mine, except for that one...i will likelu paint mine...hopefully soon..

as for your brake light...check your brake fluid..MANY cars have the ebrake light come on when the brake fluid is low...it may be low due to very low brake pads which allows more fluid into the lines...
