Problem with '01 Stratus 2.7L to '05 Sebring 2.7L swap...
My '01 Stratus 2.7L engine seized up like 3 months ago.
The garage had a '05 Sebring with a solid 2.7L that ran pretty quiet.
They tell me the book said the engines were compatible with modifications "as needed", so they figured it was going to be a pretty straight ahead swap.
Seems the injectors aren't pulsing correctly, and the plugs are firing out of order.
They're using the wiring harness from the '01, and everything else from the '05 including the flywheel.
As they've already done the swap and the engine seems to be tight, I'd be fine if anyone could just tell me what's missing...
Anyone swapped an '05 Chrysler 2.7L for an '01 Dodge 2.7L before?
How do we get the thing to fire and pulse correctly?
Thanks in advance for any info you might be able to provide...
