Default blower motor resistor and connector

Hi,

is there a special mechanism to separate the blower motor resistor from its connector.

I have a dodge stratus 2001 2.4L whose blower motor resistor had burnt out. the resistor is tightly hooked to the connector and despite of removing the red lock latch the connector won't come out of the resistor.

how do I take the connector out of the resistor? I pressed the black lock latch and tried plugging out the connector but it won't simple buzz.

Welcome to DF
The connector maybe melted to the resistor. You may need to get a connector repair kit and replace both the connector and resistor.
