Default Trunk Kill Switch

Let me start by saying, I searched for this, I swear I did. I know how forums work. Okay, I have a 2001 Dodge Stratus with about 70,000 miles. It has a trunk kill switch, when the trunk is open the car won't start. Anyway, my girlfriend was driving it this morning and something in the trunk slid back into the latch and the car shut down. Is there a way to disable this trunk kill switch? Thanks in advance for all your help.

PS, the only way to restart the car when the trunk issue happens is to get out, open, and then close the trunk. Not fun at 7am in the middle lane on the freeway.

It's a Sedan without keyless entry, auto trans, with power looks and windows.

I haven't tried it yet. I was hoping someone would have a write-up on it, or a picture of the actual location. All I know is that it did it again this morning when she tried to start the car... It's getting worse.

*Bump* Anyone have a write up or a diagram of this thing so I know how to disconnect it? Thanks.
