Default cooling system prob, stripped bolt

Hi,

I have a 2000 stratus with a 2.5L v6 engine. I am in the process of doing a cooling system flush because the coolant is very dirty. In order to remove the thermostat the housing has to be removed. The thermostat housing is held on by three bolts, in the process of taking those three bolts out one of the bolts snapped off at the head and now the other half is in the engine. I tried to tap it out and did not have much luck. The part that the the bolt snapped off in is attached to the side of the engine and looks like it can be removed. What I would like to know is what is the name of that part, and can it be replaced?
