Default Clutch?

Lately ive noticed when driving espically gears 3-5 my car acts weird. it is manual strat r/t 2001. when dirivng in those gears and i hit the gas to accelerate the rpms rev up high then settle back down and the car goes. I already had the clutch replaced once on the car. its about time for an oil change idk if that has anythign to do with it but i doubt that it would. any suggestiosn would be great.

Sounds like the clutch is slipping. Do you use it a lot?? No pun intended, just asking.

Any oil leaks or anything around it? It doesn't take much to contaminate it. Have you checked the adjustment on it?

There is no clutch adjustment it is hydraulic self adjusting. The only way to get it to stop slipping is to replace the clutch disc, pressure plate and resurface or replace the flywheel.
