2003 Dodge Stratus Camshaft Position Error Code
Hello all,
My son has a 2003 dodge stratus, 2.4L DOHC. He has been complaining that the cars hesitates or runs rough when he accelerates hard or is running on the highway. (High RPMs).
We brought it to our local service guy (not a dealer) and he says that it is reading camshaft position sensor error. He suggested that we take it to the dealer.
I took some voltage measurements and resistance checks with the key switch in the accessory position.
I dont have a schematic or wiring diagram so i am not sure what is normal or not.
Terminal 1 on the connector (Left most side of connector) is reading 5 VDC.
Terminal 3 on the connector is reading about the same, 5 VDC.
Terminal 2 is reading about 4 ohms to ground.
Does anyone have any ideas? Are these readings normal?
