Default Stratus Transmission

I recently took my 2000 Dodge Stratus ES in to have the transmission rebuilt. I had a small oil leak at the time and the repair shop told me it was my rear engine seal, which he replaced. After I got the car back he told me to wait 10 or so days and bring it back for him to check. When I did so he stated that the oil pan gasket was leaking and that he could do the work for me. I took my car home, put it on ramps and began checking out the underside of my car. The oil leak appears to be coming from inside the clutch/transmission housing nearest the oil pan. **See attached pictures which show where the leak is located. ** I also noticed where the passenger side CV joint is located, that I could actually see something spinning inside the transmissing housing, probably the clutch assembly. Is this normal? Inaddition, all the nuts on the oil pan nearest the transmission have orange gasket material under them. My question is this....When my transmission is overhauled is it necessary to remove or loosen the oil pan in anyway? And if it is leaking where shown, wouldn't that more likely be the rear engine seal? Please help. My email is daveydet@pacbell.net if you have an answer for me. Thanks in advance
