without changing the hood, it is difficult to really have "ram air". there is so much crap in the engine bay around the intake area, a hood is your best bet. as for an intake, i assume that you mean a cold air intake tube, not an intake manifold, right?

ebay..make sure that it is full metal composition, including the MAFS adapter...and it will come with a cheap paper filter, then you can buy a K%N filter, just like i did, and save yourself 100-150 bucks over the ridiculously priced AEM or K&N units...of course, there isnt one on there right now..but keep an eye out for them..they seem to go in waves..at times, there are a ton of them

the composite intakes are actually said to be better. They absorb less heat. And K&N and AEM filters are actually not supposed to be used on cars with Mass air. And paper filters filter better but flow less. Paper filters have there purpose.

Yeah, I'm a huge fan of K&N but they do have a disclaimer on there packages I believe. Could you give me any info on aftermarket headers? I love my car but I'm having such a hard time finding anything for it.
