Default 1998 Stratus ES Transmission

Hey all,
I've had my Strat ES for about a year - great car! Only issue I've had was a leak with the tranny, and they replaced the solenoid pack. This post is relating to the tranny, the Status tranny in general. I've had a couple people now tell me to anticipate tranny trouble around 120,000 (roughly). Basically, the stories are about having to get a rebuilt tranny. Are the trannys that bad? Seems to run very well for me, and the V6 engine is nice. I guess the big tranny issues are in the Caravans, but I'm just curious about experiences in the forum here with Stratus tranny's in particular.

What's a good frequency for fluid/filter changes? Just had one last summer, so I imagine I'm set for a bit.

Warren
