Default Stratus tuned up?

Hello,

First time poster but I am thinking of a stratus conv (or regular). I am trying to find one that is a little bit tuned up both engine wise and stuyling. Where do I look? I am from europe and its not a very common car here so...
I used to own a GST Spyder ( Eclipse) that I turned to a showcar with approx 380HP on the enigne but had to sell it due to buying a house. Now I am looking for a new conv that I can have som fun with and I thought this would be the best place to look :-)
Stratus is an interesting car and I am thinking of supercharge one + add soem nice clean styling to it to make it some fun...so go ahead.-.give me input here guys(and girls of course) :-)
Not just where to find htem..but also where to look for other owners with pics/info..and parts. Anything goes :-)

What are the good sides opf the car and the bad sides...etc etc :-)

first off, there is no stratus vert offered here, and ive not seen one abroad either. there is a sebring vert., and it has the mitsubishi 6g72 3.0L, and there are performance parts for it, but they are VERY expensive..your best bet is going to be another DSM

Hmm....wonder if its same as some other models..they are named different... The stratus here is a chrysler....not a dodge..but tis the same car. We have alot of Chrysler stratus convertibles over here so I figured they were from US from the beginning. I might have to look into it more then :-) The dodge stratus you have is the exact same car as our hrysler stratus so....
I dont wanna go DSM since they are very hard to find here and expencive as he** so I thought I would go stratus instead. Doesnt HAVE to be a vert either..I can go with a sedan as well ;-)

As I said...things are a little confusing since same cars are called different things in USA and Europe *S* So you are saying there are NO stratus convertibles at all..any year range?

Over here we have Chrysler stratus, sebring..but we dont have the dodge avenger or intrepid for instance...The stratus and Sebring are not named Dodge but they are Chrysler over here... Mayve I am mixing the models up due to this? I know for a fact we have chrysler stratus convertibles...but they might be called something else in US maybe?
See what I mean? Nothing is the same and it sux sometimes when you search for cars/parts.

For instance...comparing with DSM. The NT 2G here uses a 4G63 NT engine, while the NT 2g in US uses a Chrysler 420A engine. The 2G 95-99 here share the same bodystyle all the way, when the US 95-96 has the smilie fron and the 97-99 the newer style. Same car..but different in US and europe. Its only sold as a Eclipse..not as laser or Talon. Its weird.

Here: WHat do you call this car in US? Here first one its a -01 chrysler sebring convert and the second one is a -97 stratus convert as they are sold/named here.

ok..that second picture, here, is a 2st gen sebring vert, and the top one is a 2nd gen sebring vert.

as for the DSMs..while many of our 2g DSMs had the 420a, the 2g NT verts had the 4g64...and the 1st gen NT models were 4g63 NAs...i run a mitsubishi forum too...

and while you guys may not have the avenger..we dont have the skyline...[:@]

The black car on the bottom is a 1st gen Sebring. The top one is a 2nd gen. That's why you see a 2st there....I think he just typo'd it.
