Default engine swapping

i have a 4 cyl in my strat now and i want to put in a 6 cyl. is this possible? plus if it is what would it cost for a new engine and install.... yes it is a five speed

I'm not sure what your trying to accomplish. But from what I understand the 4 cyl srt4 motor is capable of a lot more then the eclipse v6. Again not sure about your year and goals, but you might be better of with a turbo set up and maybe some work on the internals, it would be cheaper and your car would be faster. Just a thought.

what i want to accomplish is that i wanna install a trailer hitch so i can tow a small boat and trailer....

it is a 1996 5 speed... where is a good palce to get a turbo... what is a good turbo for the '96 strat?

trade the car in for a truck...

I dont even thinks it's possible to install a trailer hitch.

I'm not sure where you live, but pending I can find a turbo setup, I would swap my 3.0 v6 auto with you. I know a guy who will do the work for dirt cheap, pending it all fits of course. It's the mitsu 6g72 motor.

the only problem with swapping engines is that mine is a manual and urs is an auto... i live in minnesota
