Default removing vibration damper 2.4

I have a 1999 stratus with the 2.4L that I need to replace the timing belt. When I tried to remove the vibration damper it hits the frame. I can't tell how close it is to coming off the shaft. What do you have to do to remove it?

put a floor jack under the eng, discon the eng mount closest to the pully, slowly lower the jack till you go the room you need.
