Tachometer / odometer problem

Hi I'm new to this forum, I just bought a 96 Stratus with a 2.4L and automatic. I have read a few other posts about people having problems with the tachometer and odometer Intermittently going out. I'm just wondering if anyone found a solution to this problem. My car does the same thing. It keeps counting the miles but you can't always see what they are. Thanks for any help Walt
