Default Dodge Stratus 2.0 LE 'tick' sound

Hi.

I have a Dodge Stratus 2.0 LE (1999, 182 000 km) and a Dodge Neon (1996 model, 190 000 km).
On these two cars, it is a 'ticking' sound when you rush the engine. When the engine is idling or when Iæm driving at 'normal' speed, the 'ticking' sound is gone, but when I either 'push the pedal to the metal' or I have to give a little more power to get up a steep hill, the 'ticking' sound is back.

I just wondered if any of you guys had any idea on what this could be? I've had the cars serviced several times, but noone can figure out what this is.

NOTE: I'm from Norway, and here the car is called Chrysler Stratus and Chrysler Neon, but I guess this is the same car
