Default weird engine sound on r/t

i have a 2002 stratus r/t coupe, just bought it like 2 weeks ago and now im hearing this strange noise when it starts, it started about 4 days ago and did it like twice, then it just started back today, not quite sure what it is but when it starts it is at about 1500 rpm's when normally it should be like 750 rpm's. It goes away after about 30 seconds to a minute. I dont think its the belt but i think it might be the valves, almost sounds like they are not lubricated when it starts up, anyways the oil levels find i dunno if its an oil pump or a gasket or something else, just wanna see if you guy have had this happen to u or know what it is. thanks
