Default 2003 Stratus RT Sound System Question

Just wondering if anyone has upgraded/altered their systems at all in this car. It already has a nice sounding 6-speaker Infinity system, but I'm thinking of upgrading to the Infinity Kappa 6x9s. Do you guys think it's that much of an upgrade for about $130? Or leave it alone? ANy suggestions will be appreciated.

Thanks

If you have the coupe be sure to check the mounting depth. I understand the rear deck is pretty shallow.

Yes it is. The guide I checked said these Infinity's work. I think I'm going to go for it.

the rear speakers are usually used just for sound fill. they dont need to be especially powerful or great, i've upgraded the fronts with Infinity components, tried a pair of 6x9s in the rear, they didnt really add much to the sound. The front door speakers are what produce most of the sound in the R/T, the rears just add a nice surround effect. Best way to go would probably be installing a pair of 6.5" midbass woofers and an amp for them.

Sort of unrelated, but I've also got an '03 R/T coupe... If you change out the receiver, will the steering wheel controls still work with the new one?? I want ot get a deck that has a front aux. plug-in for my iPod.
