Default Hey everyone Could use some help with a power steering issue.

Car is a '99 Chrysler Cirrus with the 2.5L auto. The problem is that when you are at idle not moving and you crank the wheel to pull out of a parking spot the steering gets really jerky towards the end of it's travel. If I pick the rpm's up to about 2000 the problem goes away. The fluid was a litltle low, I filled it up to correct level and did not solve problem. Any ideas? Thanks in advance for replies.

Check your power steering belt. If it is old, go a head and replace it and see if it fixes the problem.
