I'm planning to purchase a pre-owned Dodge Viper within the next several months. I'm considering a late 90's/ early 2000 model RT/10. I love the way they look, it's the super car I grew up dreaming about as a kid, and they are more in my comfortable price range. I blindly purchased an '84 Corvette awhile back in the mind set that all Corvettes are the same. As I found out the 1984 model wasn't really a great year Corvette to own. I'm trying to avoid that problem again by really doing my research on what to look for and which years to consider when purchasing my new Viper. I figured any veteran Viper owner in here could give me some valuable advice what to look for. Thanks everyone!

 

I also really like the late 90's models. Seemed more raw and powerful.

The new SRT is obviously up on my list as well.
