Sounds like a lot of money but actually that's not bad for a 500hp quality motor like the Vipers.

if i were you bjorn i would try looking around places like hennessey performance or the dodge webpage itself the engine weight all i remember was it was just about 500 lbs

5 grand is an accurate estimation. If you really get lucky, you may find one at a junk yard for a lot less.
