Well, I got my LED tails yesterday afternoon. Installed them this morning and then tinted them with some vinyl that I got on eBay. I still have to do the 3rd tail but that will have to wait until later this afternoon. When I get all three done I will get a pic.
As far as tinting the tails with the vinyl goes, it was not that bad once you get the hang of how to do it. The first light I did took me a while bc I was trying to figure it out as I went. After I realized that I needed more heat and less water than I was using I was able to get it on no problem By the time I got to the second tail it was way easier. The second one only took me about 5 to 10 minutes.
SWEET, congrats.. good to hear you were able to do it without any issues... Im gonna be doing mine tommarrow...
Im not gonna keep it on there long.. I plan on getting LED's and they'll put out better light... I have a buddy thats needs pictures and wants to see how easy it is before he starts to sell the vinyl for the ram tails... Im getting it for free so Why not try it out....

Well I did my taillights tonight and it was easier than I thought... The vinyl I used this time was much easier to form and manipulate... Sorry for the pictures.. I got started kinda late because of work and I took the taillights off the truck so I could do it in a warmer climate(house).... I think it looks awesome... I 2 choices to pick from... 20% or 35%, since I didnt know what either would look like and I dont have leds to makes them brighter I picked the 35%... In the dark I should have no problems with people seeing my brakes, but not sure about day time... I'll find out tommarrow.... I dont want to play hide and seek with the cops around here.... I've got busted before for having a tinted license plate cover which I think was 60-70%, more smoked than anything... Soooo I have my fingers crossed and hope the cops have others things to do than screw with me...
So here's the pics.... Again sry for the lousy pics... kinda dark out....

I think it looks good like that. Dark enough to blend them in but not so dark that you will get hassled by the law. Is there a reason you didn't do the third brake light?
