North Carolina Dodge Club

BUMP.....
This club seems to have died. LOL
I've been busy with other forums, my daughter moving down, and now I have a Grandson.
But since I am trying to get the truck back in shape I will be back here a little more frequently.
How is the rest of the Carolinas doing?
It feels good to be back.

The rest of the Carolinas are wet, that's how we're doing. All this drought talk this summer kinda bugs me because it has been raining just about every afternoon for the last three months. Send some of this rain west and I'll be happy.
Near Charlotte eh'? How's the commute been for the last couple weeks. I wouldn't want to be near there with the DNC going on. Traffic and Democrats everywhere, scary.

Yeah its been wet here too, I need a machete to cut the grass in my yard.
Im "near Charlotte" but around alot of farm land, not country just a peaceful quiet town.....
I avoid Charlotte if I can, especially with the convention around..
I will say it was not nearly as bad as the convention in 2004. They shut down I95 for a five mile stretch through Boston. My commute then sucked.

[quote=VEETEN;2874041]My newest addition....
45th Aniversary SS
Love your new Camaro SS ~ Looking AWESOME!!!
Besides our SIX MAGNUMS (WIFE HAS THERE AND I HAVE THREE), I just bought my wife Tee this 300SRT a couple of weeks ago and we haven't had any time to mess with it really. We were on vacation in Auburn & Binghamton area of NY on vacation and just got home late last night.

Beautiful ride you got there Carolina Magnum.
Is that lowered or is the stance normally that low?
I like the blacked out lights too.
I will tell you I have never washed a "vehicle" as much as my Camaro.
I had to get the 45th since my first Grandchild was born this year, and he will probably get this car when he is old enough ( like 30 years old). LOL

Got to be HONEST: I love the new camaros too; just NOT the price.
We got this 300SRT just two weeks ago but then left on vacation to upstate NY and just got home Sunday night... then spent Monday at VA Hospital in Durham NC for cancer check up and then Tuesday at local VA for eye exam, so we haven't had time to really even mess with it. I already have some things for it and hopefully will be putting them on TODAY.
Yes this car has been lowered by previous owner with Brand "Tein" Springs.
Because of Tee's THREE magnums; one SXT with the 3.5L six and her other two have the 5.7L hemis, she asked ME to "get on it" for the first time. WOW< this car RUNS! Feels faster than my Magnum SRT with a LegMaker CAI and a Diablo Predator. She really LOVES this car and wants to DRIVE IT so bad!
Thanks for the comment and I'll pass it along to TEE!!!

Looking for a General Lee car
I'm looking for someone in North Carolina who may own or knows of someone who owns a replica of the General Lee car. My special needs brother who is a huge Dukes of Hazzard fan will be turning 40 this month and I would like to hire the owner of a General Lee to drive him to a restaurant where we'll be celebrating his birthday. Estimated time would be 30 minutes at the most. We live in Wake Forest, NC. I am willing to pay for time/travel. His birthday is April 24th. Please respond via email: ccogliati@smeinc.com or call direct: 919-605-5820. Thanks!!!
