Look back at post #72 in this thread.

As for your Throttle Body, did you go to the fastman to get it?

What bore did you go with?

What difference do you notice?

I just bought my first V10 Ram and couldn't be happier with it.

Been a member of the forum for a while, but haven't really posted all that much. I've had my 2002 V10 since Jan '08, so count me in.

It's got a 3" lift, 35" tires, true dual exhaust, K&N FIPK, HemiFever Tune, TransGo shift kit, and 4.10 gears (originally had 3.55's).

On my truck, the mods that did the most listed best/worst.

1) Tuner. Hands down the best mod for seat-of-the-pants, as well as towing.

2) Gears.

3) Shift Kit

4) Exhaust

5) FIPK

Frankly, the intake and exhaust did very little for performance on my truck. It's a strange engine/intake in that the intake is louder at idle than a WOT. At WOT, I hear nothing. But at idle it sounds like a 488 cubic inch vacuum cleaner!! Every other car/truck I've ever owned had that 4bbl secondaries opening up sound with a CAI.

I had to change out the TPS last year as I was having weird issues where the converter would lock/unlock at highway speeds. Swapped it out and problem solved. Never checked the voltage though, so I'll have to do that one of these days. Beyond that, it's been pretty much the most reliable vehicle I've ever owned. When I bought it, the mileage was ~87k. I'm at 195k now. I've replaced the wheel bearings, upper/lower ball joints, tie rod ends, and the track bar. Considering the mileage, and what I do with this truck, it blows me away with it's reliability (I work on drilling rigs as a geology consultant, and I tow my trailer to the jobsites). Our 'jobsites' are in the middle of the mountain, often with mud deep enough to almost touch my nerf bars. It's not for the faint of heart!

Anyway, glad to be a part of the V10 club! And Hydrashocker - what brand are those rocker guards? I'm looking to get some for my truck and am leaning towards a set from Willmore.

Nice ride RamTough, welcome. Thanks for the information on all your mods, that'll really help members out.

Denis, go to the 2nd gen ram area and there will be a black button on the left side that says 'new thread'. Click that to create a new thread on your issue.

I went ahead and ordered the SCT from Hemifever based on the above review. I'm still doing the gears but I can swing the coin for the tuner now. I'm stockpiling all kinds of things to install over the winter. Should be a good spring.

Good deal! If your truck responds the way mine did, you'll be shocked at the difference in power.
