Default Black Sheep...errr...Red Sheep of the family

I see that I'm the only 1st Gen in this club. Surely there are others that dare to be different.

This is my first post and are going to bring this back from the dead.

I have a built 2001 Dodge Ram 3500 2wd Dually.
Just put brand new 22.5" American Force Rims on 37" Sumitomo Tires
and an 3" body lift and 2" leveling kit to tuck these 2's.

Starting

Half way

Stance

No more sliding in

Bad picture but a little fun

Hello all again,

It has been awhile since I last post. here is my update on my lifted truck.

2WD 04 5.7 Hemi SLT.

1) 6" Fabtech lift kit ( paid roughly about $1750 ) I was not happy with the quality of it because it did gave me some issue with he suspension when I go to a pot hole or uneven road surface it would slammed hard on the suspension and i could hear if the truck about to fell apart. took me awhile to get it working right. Sooo if you decide to buy Fabtech kit do think twice or check with me and I can give you some tips on how to get it right. I'm not a mechanic but just know enough to be danger.

2) 20" XD wheel with 35" Nito Grapler.

Now I just need to find away to post the picture as I do not have experience with this site as far as upload picture.

By the way I ordered the Fabtech kit from 4 wheel parts. As stated earlier the Fabtech kit quality is nothing but junks.. and why i'm saying this is because the upper control arm which came with the kit is so flimsy and look like it was made either from china or something, the 4 white shocks in the kit also junks in my opnion, after few months of usage it the shocks in the rear started making squeaking noise, and the front shocks rubber started to cracked...
I end up replacing the upper control arm with CST , and all of the shocks i have on the truck now are all Bilstein, I'm very please with Bilstein shocks and CST upc. it did fix my problem with the suspension got slammed when drive by the pot hot or uneven surface. the Billstein shock believed to fix my squeking noise issue and the rider is much better now. I do also have the part number for all shocks which work for 6" lift kit. I was struggle to find the replacement shocks for original (white junks fabtech shocks) so i went to 4 wheel parts to see if they have some better quality one, and i talked to several guys at different store in Houston those guys was not helpful at all and one of the guys want to charge me $95.00 just to look at the problem. I would not go back to 4 wheel parts as they are a bunch of useless sale man in my opinion.

Sorry guys as my writhing skill is not that great, but if you have any comments or questions just let me know. later y'all

ngcoonass, what did you have for 10" of lift? 3" body lift, 4" spindle, and 3" coil (which doesn't give but 2")?

I have 2.5" coil spacer (which got a little over 3"), 3" body lift, and 3" spindle. I guess those suspension max spindles would have gotten me to 10" but anything over that is crazy expensive
Did you have to get longer tie rods? I have a 2" coil spacer and when I put my 3" spindles on it messed my alignment off to much and it couldn't be aligned
