3rd gear boost spike

SO i just bought my srt about three weeks ago .
just recently took it to the strip and noticed first and second gear hold boost at 17 just fine , shift to third and the boost spikes over 20 pounds, im guessing wastegate ???

what mods does the car have? i think we need more info before we can help
