Default RE: how dose the gas milage work?

best gas milage will come if your easy on the gas pedal, dont jump off from starts, anticipate stops and coast down instead of racing up and slamming on the breaks. The multiple cylinder MDS works on its own in normal drive. Seems that most cars will use that over 60-65 mph and cruising at a steady speed. On longer freeway trips, cruise control will definately improve your milage too. Dont haul around a bunch of unnecessary junk. I still get good milage on my RT and Im always getting in to it because its so fun.......

Just imagine that there is an egg between your foot and the gas pedal, drive like that and you will get good gas mileage.

I get good mileage with my RT and still step on it once in awhile.

The more miles you put on the car, the better the mileage will get.

Enjoy the ride.....................use your cruise control on the highway.

With the cruise on I get around 20-22 mpg.. and 15-18mpg in town. The Chip really helped my mileage!
