Its the 278th Dodge Aries built (as well as the first coupe) for the 87 model year. 96,000 +/- Aries were built (not including Reliants) for 1987. 7715 coupes were produced for 87 (there are approximately 925 survivors today), 205 non LE coupes and 7510 LEs. It came off the line at 11am Sept 25, 1986 (my daughter was born Sept 25 06 at 11:45am). I am its second owner, I purchased it from the late former owner's daughter for $700. When I bought it, I was given an envelope inside it was the original window sticker, sales agreement, sales receipt from when it was purchased, odometer statement from Chrysler when it was loaded on to the truck it had 2 miles on it when it arrived at the dealer, it also came with the owners manual, sales brochure and all its service records from day one. Whenever it was repaired only genuine Chrysler parts were used. She also never saw snow in her entire life, and was always kept in a heated garage. After I bought her, she went on to win numerous shows everything from 2nd place to top 10 and 25 awards, and even one for top 5 out of 650 cars. Not bad for the lowly K!
