Default Tranny problems....?

I just traded in a 1999 Dodge Ram 2500 Quad with 5.9 V8 auto. I received a 2001 Dodge 2500 Quad Cummins 24 Valve, Six Speed. Well I have had it about 1-1/2 months and I am having probs with the transmission. I replaced the clutch slave and master cylinder cause second gear was hard to go into. Now when I am driving, third gear is kindof hard to shift into. I grew up with standards so I know how to drive! Has anyone had these kind of probs and do you know what I can do? Truck has 66k miles on it

How old is the transmission fluid? Was that changed the same time the master and slave cylinders? Was the clutch rod adjusted as well? <--Most likely not the problem, but I just have to ask. Granted, I have a car with a stick but the basics are the same.

The shop and my boyfriend said the fluid looks great. And also on these trucks there is no adjustments to be made. I am thinking that maybe the bolts on the tranny and transfer case are loose. I read in another forum that some of the dodge's have that problem. When I drive down a highway my shifter moves more than it used to. Either that or I bought a lemon.

That may have something to do with it. That happens to cars too, as a matter of fact mine is starting to do that a bit (a tiny, irritating, bit).
