Tranny problems....?
I just traded in a 1999 Dodge Ram 2500 Quad with 5.9 V8 auto. I received a 2001 Dodge 2500 Quad Cummins 24 Valve, Six Speed. Well I have had it about 1-1/2 months and I am having probs with the transmission. I replaced the clutch slave and master cylinder cause second gear was hard to go into. Now when I am driving, third gear is kindof hard to shift into. I grew up with standards so I know how to drive! Has anyone had these kind of probs and do you know what I can do? Truck has 66k miles on it

RE: Tranny problems....?
The shop and my boyfriend said the fluid looks great. And also on these trucks there is no adjustments to be made. I am thinking that maybe the bolts on the tranny and transfer case are loose. I read in another forum that some of the dodge's have that problem. When I drive down a highway my shifter moves more than it used to. Either that or I bought a lemon.
