Default Somebody help the boy!

Hi all...I'm posting here trying to get some ideas on why my '00 Intrepid is wanting to die on me. It happens about every 2 weeks.......sometimes going down the road it dies and immediately starts again. Sometimes it dies at a stop light and then might start after a long while. I took it to a local repair shop .....had it towed.....their testing came back and said it wasn't getting spark.....before they could track it down, the car started again...and now they are in the dark.....I could really uase some help....can't keep going on this way.....it has the small V-6...thanks in advance for any help offered

more then likely if you lost spark the crankshaft position sensor is crapping out on you. ive changed dozens of these for this problem

is that one of those advanced systems with a sesor on the crankshaft, a like hall effect sensor that tells it when to shoot gas and spark?
