That means, they are not qualifield to diagnose your car , take it to your local dealer. BUS comunication problem is not understood by most "hole in wall" technician or salesman at "the zone"...

ps: is this a hard code( comes back as soon as erased ?) or interminent code ? does the cluster works ?

I didn't erase it yet it's been going off by its self after about an hour then an hour later comes back on ETC< ETC
the instrument cluster has been working fine. The other day i had some glow race pedals hooked up , the guy hooked it to the running light headlight dash light switch. do you think thats all it is?

Hey I need help witht similiar problem...I had a no bus error on my odometer, and no gauges. I wasn't able to pull any codes so i took it to my dealer who charged me 91 bucks for the diagnosis and he said the the cluster had in internal fault and would have to be replaced to the tune of over a thousand dollars. So i paid the 91 and took to a friend whose a mechanic to take a look. He said there was a loose connection and now the problem is fixed. I'm pissed off now that i paid the diagnosis fee and now i feel they were trying to rip me off. Any ideas about this???
