do you think that the risk is too high throwing a chip on a 2004 4. 7 ltr ?? i need some input on this because i'm only half way sure i would like to get one.........

I don't think risks are high. I think it will have negative long-term effects if used a lot (or all the time.) just put intake and exhaust first on the 4.7 before you do any chipping... i gots a 4.7 and all you got to do is let it breathe better and it will treat you nice. (by the way you are in the wrong forum) I wouldnt get a chip tho cus i hear too many bad things about them. Not to mention I never found any for a 4.7 back when i was ignorant and looking for horsepower. All i found was modules and crap.

 

ya hmm......i do have the cold air and exhaust done but its not enough ....what are some other mods i can do to the truck to add a little horsepower?
