i just replaced my fan clutch today (96 ram 2500 5.9) used a strap wrench to hold the pully and a huge/long allied wrech for working on bulldozers, took alot of umph but mine finally came off after about 10 minutes of straining.
Listen.. I would never hit you with an axe.. when you had skewers stabbed through your mouth. I would figure one or the other would be enough..

i have a 96 ram 2500 with a 360 in it and my waterpump bearing housing broke and i used a heavy duty like dulldozer cresant wrench and fit that on there and i used a huge pipe wrench to put around the pulley and gave her a yank and poped loose.
