Default Intakes/filters

Need some better flow. Looking @ K&N cold air or AIRRAID. Any opinions/experience?

I would go with K&N before Airraid!!! Volant isa good second, but man can you feel the difference after the K&N...buddy of mine just got one and makes me wish I had too!!!

whats wrong with airaid? same K and N filter at the end! little cheaper then the k and n kit. anyways just wondering whatis wrong with the airaid setup, do know something I don't know?

If you want the least expensive out there go with a Ractive intake.

it sounds like personal opininion about the airraid vs K &amp; N . Post a poll for all out there or search the net for dyno results

The k&n puts the filter right up front by the grill where the air is comming in. It also has a heat sheild that keeps the air around the filter as well. the tube keeps the air cool as its heading to the TB, and the air hat portion is designed to alow the air to flow into the TB better.

the air raid is just a airhat, a 12 inch streight tube with a filter at the end. the tube sticks out right where the stock system does but this time the filter is right over the passanger side exhaust man., with no heat sheild.

there is a reason why its so much cheaper.

well on mine its on the fender and has a shield that has a rubber seal on top to seal with the hood.</P>
