Default 94 CHEROKEE TRANS ?

I RECENTLY PUT A TRANSMISSION IN MY BROTHERS 95 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE. EVERYTHING MOUNTED AND ALL HARNESSES PLUGED IN. THE TRANS WAS OUT OF A 95' CHEROKEE. THE PROBLEM IS THE TRUCK STARTS OFF IN SECOND GEAR. IF I PUT THE TRANS IN FIRST AND TAKE OFF IT STILL STARTS IN SECOND. NOW I AM WONDERING IF THESE TRANSMISSIONS ARE EVEN COMPATIBLE. ANY SUGGUSTIONS? IT IS AN AUTOMATIC 4X4 WITH OVERDRIVE. PLEASE HELP ME. [sm=dontgetit.gif] BOB
