1977 jeep cheif .... jeep guru's!!

came across a jeep cheif with a 360 4speed ..... id like to know more! ive been thinking about trying to get a old 4x4 i can have some fun with for cheap.... this thing is in my price range and id think it would be cheap to lift and maintain ( theory behind that is dodge truck parts would work with it ??? ) educate me!
