Default 2008 Jeep Commander rough shift at 20 mph

One of my co-workers was asking me if I knew anything about how to fix his 2008 Jeep Commander 4.7L V8 545RFE. As stated in the title, he said that it happens only when he is decelerating at around 20 mph. It has about 127,000 miles on it currently. My assumption that since it only happens on deceleration and knowing the uniqueness of this transmission, it is doing this when it is downshifting into 2nd prime (1.5). The last time he had any maintenance performed on it was around 70K miles in having a pan drop and replacing the filters at a local tire chain store. The only things I could come up with was having a transmission flush or another pan drop (since it has been almost 60K since the last job), a software update, possibly solenoid or valve body issue. If anyone can help me figure this out I would appreciate it.
