My Dodge Van
I picked up this 1980 Dodge van about 5 blocks from my house for $250 and a crappy H&R .410 shotgun. Super deal. It has been parked since November of 1989, has 38,000 original miles, 225 slant 6 with one barrel carb, 3 speed manual with OD, short 109 inch wheelbase, and very little rust for being an Indiana vehicle. A real life time capsule.
Plans are to get it running again and roadworthy then build it up Dajiban style eventually swapping in an inline 6 Toyota 2JZ-GTE engine and 6 speed manual built to 500HP with twin turbos. Purists will get upset but it fits the Dajiban style, is buildable to 2,000 horsepower, and drinks less fuel and costs MUCH less than a Hemi. Then I'll put the 225 in a Dart or something similar.
