What's up with the front end on this thing?! It looks crumpled, like it's already been wrecked or something. It does look similar to the jayski spy pics of the #41, but this #12 pic is the first we've seen wearing its race paint scheme.
Let's just hope ugly = fast. Maybe this nose will give good downforce.
This could be a plate track car, probably for Daytona testing. Not 100% sure but looking at last year pics, the nose of them seem to be flat like the 12 car...
The heavy recessed lights will provide a considerable amount of downforce like that. It's very similar to what NASCAR allowed the GM whiners to do to the Monte crappo when they couldn't get that POS to handle. From the looks of it, it's just an Intrepid with a new nose. Well, let's hope it runs better than it looks.

You're right, there is no damage, the corners are too "soft". It is a rather interesting change in aerodynamics, though....
