that's not scc's srt, that's mopar's lightweight edition srt. that's the car that they use for r&d for all the mopar parts that eventually make it to us.

Okay, I'm confused... people are running 12.7-13.0 with a stock SRT4. With the stage 2, I thought they were dropping into the mid-high 11s. And this car with the stage 3, and lightwieght turns a 11.5 with slicks? is that about right?

who is running 12.7 on a stock srt? i want to meet that driver!!! 13.7-14.0 on a stock srt, 13.3-13.5 stage 1, 12.8-13.0 stage 2. stage 3 should see low 12's, maybe high 11's with a really good driver.

71rr will tell you that he saw 13.0s on a stage 1 car, but i still honestly don't buy it as it's not possible. also the few thousand people that have stage 1 can't even come close to it, and there are some good drivers out there. i have suspision that he saw stage 2 cars in the test phase that said they had stage 1 because they couldn't say the truth. or they had other mods besides stage 1 and didn't say so.

Sorry, I wish that I had a video camera and could post it here to prove what I and many others have seen, but I do not have one. The SRT-4's that I watched running 13.0-13.2 were '03's that had the blue manufacturers plates on them and had lettering on the rear side windows stating PVO Stage 1 and I checked them out and they looked stock to me with no obvious mods like CAI, etc. I would assume that these cars were ran by pros that know these cars inside and out as far as driving them. I believe the Stage 1 cars were red and yellow and the others were stock and running 13.7-13.9. I cannot recall if one of my friends had a video camera while we were at that show, but if he did and has one of their runs on it I will definately post it. I know for a fact that he at least had a camera and I will find out for sure if he has any pictures of these SRT-4's so that I can at least show you which cars they were. And if the pictures are done right you might even get the plate numbers off of them.

as far as 1/4 times go, and i'm fairly a newbie to the drag strip, but my 2003 with my only power adders being a stage 1 kit, k&n filter (stock air box), and borla catback pulled a 14.0 with stock tires and premium pump gas@ 102 mph. this was my best run after a summer on the track. so 71 rr claims of faster times from the boys @ pvo does sound credible to me.
