If you're talking about the security alarm, it means it's working/enabled.

i didn't even know i had a security alarm until i locked the door with the key one day and the light started flashing real fast.

Many dealers never set the alarm system to operate and many folks never realize they have an alarm system......albeit, a pretty crappy one.........

^ i remember a discussion about this before, not sure if it was on here though. but yeah, the dealer has to activate it. its pretty much just if you open the door without hitting the 'unlock' button on the remote. not a very high speed alarm by any means
