Angry downshifting problem

hey peeps its been a while since iv been on. so i have an 03 model n when i go to down shift into second gear it doesnt seem to want to go in. sometimes i really have to pull on it or i have to slow down ALOT for it to go into gear. i recently changed the tranny fluid & it has helped a little but it still remains a problem. any ideas wat else it could be? thanx!

Sounds about right. 2-3 and 3-2 are notoriously bad in the SRT-4s. Have you tried rev matching to help? Blipping the throttle when going into second has helped me a lot.

yeah someone advised me to do that & it has worked. anyone know where i can shop for gear synchronizers or am i just going to have to let the shop take care of that?

good thing i read this post and know that it is a ongoing problem with srt 4's because i noticed its hard from 2-3 or 3-2 as well phew i thought i'd have to get work done on the gears
