You're going to trade a perfectly good bike for a 35 year old truck? I'd look for dependability first. I'd honestly look at EVERYTHING. Suspension, engine, interior, etc. What are your plans? Daily driver? Weekend warrior? Project? Mudder? Racer? I cant see this as a good decision personally not knowing your current situation or plans for it.....

truck would be for rod run, shows (when i got done with) weekend toy for the whole fam. maybe alittle track time. truck has new interior, 727 with 3000 stall, 383BB new aluminum heads with three angle valve job with 202 214 valves port polished .488 cam victor intake 750 demon carb all forged internals. strong runnin truck. my bike is a 2006 roadstar with ppg sunset pearl with ghost flames, lowered. Ported intake, v&h short shots, 108ci build port and polished, carb work. T-bars with iso grips and old school mirrors . polished rotors and fork tins. think it would be a decent trade or have i lost it ?

Even trade? Dont do it unless you know the builder of the truck you are buying.

the issue is the engine cost more to build than he could sell it for, and is worth more than the truck. Honestly I think you'd get hosed in the end, could be all kinds of hidden stuff on a truck that old, and that bike is worth a decent amount. In the end it's what you want, if you don't use the bike might be worth it to you

Sell the bike on your own and buy it, you'll probably come out way ahead.
