Default Newb from Missery

Or as some call it Missouri.
I'm a member on some other Dodge Rams sites so not new to Rams just to the forum here. Ive owned several Dodges over the years
1987 Daytona, 1991 Daytona. 2001 Neon, 1997 Ram Quad 4x4 and currently a 1999 ram Quad 4x4 both 5.9.

My 97 was a show truck My buddy and I did a full body restoration and custom paint ( he is a body and paint guy) me, I'm just a mechanical grunt.

Anyways glad to be here and hope to help as well as learn a few things as we go along.
The Blue 1997 Ram Quad 4x4 was the one I loved and miss
My current 1999 Ram Quad Sport 4x4, in the process of making it mine, don't care for the red color so that may change in the future.

Thanks for the welcome, Ive posted up some pictures of the 97 build here https://dodgeforum.com/forum/2nd-gen...-pictures.html
and also some of the work Ive done to my current 99 plenum gasket /waterpump replacement in the proper topics..
So far everything Ive done to my 99 sport is :
Plenum Gasket
Water Pump
New Cooper STT Pro
New Rancho Shocks and steering damper
IAC / TPS sensors
Cap, rotor, plugs and wires
Link pin bushings
Track Bar
Ball Joints
replaced a leaking washer bottle and some weather seals on the doors
192 degree Thermostat
But I will sometimes soon in the near future replace the Tie rods, they pass inspection but theres just too much play in them ( due to the lift and bigger tires you can tell when driving) had the same issue with my 97 so I know what it is...I will be replacing the idle arm and possibly the pitman arm too, debating getting the steering gear box bracket as well, cheap enough and simple to install while all the other stuff is off. Never ending fun right ! lol

Thanks. I took the bug guard off so it looks better in my opinion. I don't care for the red color but it is what it is at the time, I'm thinking to have it Camo'd or finished in a Matte Black color? That's a long ways from now if anything.
