I'M BOB IN Wv. 2005 DODGE RAM 1500 QUAD CAB 4X4 4.7L AUTO 168K miles, tow rig for a 3,500# Center Console Boat I'm a fisherman/outdoors man & parts guy by trade (GM...LOL) I've owed Mopar my whole life from 73 Challengers, Polara's, Chargers, 2nd generations Dakotas & Durango's ,Now & currently '05 Ram 1500 & a '04 Durango LTD 4.7L auto's
I'M currently posting in the "3rd generation tech" section with questions about engine & transmission interchange. I'm also searching out a hard downshift issue 5-45RFE trans that I believe I found the solution HERE with the TP sensor, MAP sensor & MASS Airflow sensor causing trans to shift out of turn.(I hope)
Bottom line is, I want to stock pile a powertrain for my truck engine,trans & rear end . so I can reman them for my currant truck . time to re-power soon. thank you in advance for the help MOPAR RULES !!
